After years of planning, Teesside bikers is now well underway.
The original concept behind the site was to create a central point in order to produce a simple yet effective link between all bikers and bike services in the area.
The "bolted on" forum being the backbone of the site enabling the areas two-wheeled community somewhere to share experiences and make friends with people who share the same passion.
Ordering helmets/chains/tyres etc on the internet can be a daunting task at the best of times with many pitfalls lurking when things don't go quite to plan.
To avoid this, Teesside bikers only seeks advertisements from companies with a good past reputation.
In most cases the companies who advertise here will have agreed to some discount in either the price or service offered when dealing with TB members.
Remember to ask for your discount when calling or visiting!
Everyone likes a quality service at the right price, but its the after service that counts too.
We will never escape the fact that some items are made in haste on a Friday and subsequently fail. This is the time when customer service counts. The forum has a dedicated section aptly named "Biker Watchdog" which is there to identify just who is giving great service and of course, who isn't !
In these "credit crunch" times, its important to support local businesses as well as the national ones and to put the word around not only when service is poor, but also when it is exceptional.
